Work injuries can severely impact your health. Health is important now more than ever while trying to avoid COVID-19. From traumatic accidents to strains and sprains, these injuries are no different than those experienced by athletes. We also conduct biomechanical assessments to ensure the use of proper body mechanics to mitigate the risk of an injury.
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is one of the most common causes of vertigo — the sudden sensation that you're spinning or that the inside of your head is spinning. Physical Therapy is the #1 treatment for BPPV for long-term results. It can usually be completely resolved in one or two treatments with very positive outcomes and no invasive treatment.
Lock-jaw. Painful clicking. Difficulty eating. Intense headaches. These are all classic symptoms of Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD). While this pain may seem overwhelming, physical therapy can help.
Sports injuries occur even in the most seasoned, professional athlete and result in greatly reduced performance. This can lead to anxiety, a decrease in confidence, and altered body mechanics which increases recovery time. Sports Medicine can help athletes recover; Physical Therapy takes Sports Medicine further by helping athletes recover quickly and completely. Physical Therapy can also provide athletes with the coaching they need to prevent these declines in performance entirely. If you fall outside of Seattle and Renton, WA, or are taking extra precautions for COVID-19, we also provide telehealth.
