... read more I started my "cash-based" physical therapy practice a few years ago and was told it is better to avoid insurance due to low reimbursement costs and the headache and difficulty of working with them. 1 year later, I was getting nowhere financially and almost considered shutting down my practice since it was difficult to convince patients with very good insurance benefits to pay out of pocket for physical therapy services. Luckily I met Patrick, who simplified the entire process of working with insurance companies and not only guided me as a mentor but challenged me to research independently to find the best outcome for my clinic. Ever since taking his advice, I have not had to worry about my income and have been more successful than I could have ever imagined. Patrick is truly a selfless leader and friend who cares about the profession and well-being of everyone around him regardless of whether it is patients, mentees, or fellow colleagues. I am beyond grateful to Patrick for teaching me that it's ok to deal with insurance companies and that if you do your research, follow his guidelines, and work hard, you are rewarded in the end. I can't recommend Pat enough to any small PT business owner who is struggling and needs guidance on running a successful practice.

... read more Dr. Patrick Toy is awesome to work with! I’d been having problems with my low back and hip. I went to see him for the first time, he did one simple test and he knew what was wrong. He is passionate about his work and your results. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs physical therapy!

... read more Pat at PT Dynamix is awesome! It's rare you find a business that offers a true personal touch, but I could see myself grabbing a beer with Pat as easily as having him jam his elbow in my shoulder. I came in to see Pat because I had lingering pain across the entire left side of my torso. Pat has systematically worked his way through several problem areas, but my issue is somewhat like whack-a-mole, every time we make progress on one area a new issue presents itself. That being said, I've gone from being in constant pain to as close to normal as I've felt since November 2019. We've worked through a rib issue, an intercostal chest issue, a neck issue, and recently Pat found that my left lat was also very tight. While I was making good progress, after Pat worked on my lat I felt nearly 100%. Not only is Pat a great PT, I love how personable he is. He's always texting me about my progress and making sure things are going well. Pat is very good at keeping the conversation going and making me feel comfortable. I will continue to see Pat and improve my mobility and general well being.

... read more I highly recommend Dr. Toy. He genuinely cares about his patients and spends the extra mile for each and one of them. I’ve never met a doctor so passionate about his profession. I was suffering from severe back and neck pain from my car accident. During my first visit, I was in excruciating pain I couldn’t drive to his clinic. Luckily, he has a mobile service, and came to see me at my home! Now that’s service! After several visits, my back has been getting better. I realized not only is my pain going away but physical therapy is essential for me to keep my body healthy! Check him out, you won’t regret it!

... read more I woke up one morning with what felt like a Charlie horse in my right shoulder that lasted a week. Following this pain I had increased weakness in that shoulder which was negatively impacting my everyday life. As a registered nurse and former athlete this was very unsettling to me. I had a friend/co-worker refer me to Pat and his practice. I contacted him through Instagram and he immediately took me on as a patient. Not only was he thorough in the assessment of my shoulder, but he also walked me through the insurance(Cigna) claim process. He verified copay and everything! His services are beyond amazing! He gave me new workouts every week to help target shoulder strengthening. His online tools with workout guides specifically for me were extremely helpful. Due to covid, he is currently practicing in his garage which has heating and airflow and the full set-up that you would expect in a PT clinic. He spaces his patients adequately apart where I never crossed paths with another patient. His space is clean and he never missed cleaning before or after I made contact with a surface or piece of equipment. 5 stars from me! I definitely recommend his practice!

... read more I had bunion surgery and my doctor said I probably wouldn't need PT to fully recover. 7 months post surgery, my foot still felt really, really sore. Thankfully, Pat saw me on my knee scooter at a coffee shop and introduced himself. I'm grateful he did. Timing wasn't right for me to schedule time with him due to travel and then COVID restrictions, but he kept following up just to see how I was doing and eventually we scheduled time for him to help me. After 3 sessions, my foot feels much, much better! What I've loved about Pat is that he not only helps fix the issue, but he educates you on what's happening in your body so that you know why it's feeling the way it feels and how to fix it. If you're looking for a PT, look no further!

... read more I was in a car accident and as a result I experienced neck/back pain and my range of motion was quite limited. I chose Patrick as my PT because he is knowledgeable, personable, and because he’s mobile — which I hadn’t found elsewhere. Now that we’ve been working together for a few months, I’m confident he was the right choice. He takes the time to really work with you on the road to recovery. He also gave me exercises I can supplement on my own. I am now at the final phase of my treatment and my range of motion has significantly improved. I would recommend Dr. Toy to anyone in need of physical therapy.

... read more I highly recommend Patrick and his PT expertise. I was fortunate to have Patrick as a neighbor, when I needed his services after an injury playing in an Adult Softball league. I was running for a ball and felt a “pop” and immediately it was very hard and painful to walk. I thought I had torn my Achilles tendon or had a severe calf strain, and I was thinking I needed to make an appointment with my DR. I called Patrick and he said come over to his home office late on a Sunday night where he conducted a variety of tests to confirm or rule out my self-diagnosis of a calf strain and/or Achilles issue. After the tests were completed he told me my calf was just severely tight (apparently it does this as a defense mechanism prior to a strain) and my calf muscle and Achilles were not torn. He had me do various stretches and he massaged my calf to reduce the tightness. After about 3 days of working with him I was walking without any pain and no limp. If (or when) you have a Physical Therapy need, you only need to remember two letters PT, Patrick Toy and PTDynamix.

... read more On a warm evening last year I took one step off my deck into the dirt surrounding my house. What I didn't know is that my beloved puppy Lemon had been digging holes in the yard earlier that afternoon. I then had the misfortune of hearing my ankle snap twice in a way I hadn't heard previously and face planting in the dirt. The pain in a word was excruciating. High ankle sprain. Later that night I had an opportunity to speak with Patrick about my situation and he was nice enough to lend me a helping hand. Patrick insisted that I come in that night with respect to the amount of pain I was in. Within an hour of working with him I went from not being able to walk without the aid of my wife to being functionally mobile with some pain. He was even nice enough to let me borrow a cane. One would be remiss to not note the special touches Patrick put on this experience. He took me in the day of the incident and loaned me a cane which was immensely helpful in the days after. That's customer service. We all know that as an art form customer service is going the way of the dodo. As I understand it he's even willing to come to you. Over the next month or so Patrick worked with me once or twice a week until I felt like my old self again. He put me through a laundry list of exercises and therapies that put me back in order. I wish I could tell you something profound about his studio but hey....There's a massage table, resistance bands, a few weights, lamps, a plant. The usual. The space is immaculate though. It doesn't smell like sweat or microwaved fish like some of the other places. Overall I was 200% satisfied with my experience with PT Dynamix. I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of quality physical therapy. A-1!
